How Does Treatment With Avéli™ Work?
Cellulite is formed when bands of connective tissue grow and push through fatty tissue and the fibrous tissue contract inward, creating dimples.
The Avéli™ process typically takes about an hour to smooth out the skin and underlying tissue, with most patients only needing one treatment. You can expect your treatment to follow these three steps:
- A local anesthetic is administered in the treatment area.
- Several tiny incisions are made near each of the cellulite dimples.
- The surgeon will insert and carefully guide the Avéli™ device under the skin to target and disconnect tissue bands responsible for the puckering.
